Our Endowment Funds help ensure the Symphony's financial future.   You may endow special memorial or commemorative gifts or give to any of our three established funds:

The Nathan and Polly Gottschalk Fund - Founded in 1993 to bring young artists and local talent, as well as established stars, to perform with the orchestra;

50th Anniversary Fund - Established in 1989 to support the ongoing activities of the orchestra;

The Jean Pitman Turner Chorus Fund - Created in 1995 to benefit the Pioneer Valley Symphony Chorus.

Contributions of appreciated securities, owned for at least a year, may result in greater tax savings because you can bypass capital gains taxes otherwise owed. Such a gift may allow you to take a tax deduction for the fair market value of the securities. Consult with your tax advisor before making any such gift. Please notify the PVS prior to your gift's transaction, and we will explain the simple procedures to follow.

We express deep appreciation to all who have contributed to our Endowed Funds, and urge you to consider becoming a part of the PVS legacy.  For more information, please contact the PVS Office at 413-773-3664 or write to us at pvsoffice@pvso.org
